How You Should Use a Pressure Washer
There are many things that we should keep in mind when we go to use a machine. The machines have the capacity to help you and harm you at the same time. When you buy a machine or any device a user manual is provided with the device so that you don’t fall in any problem while using the product. One must follow the set of instructions that is given in the user manual to prevent any accident and get the maximum benefit from that device. When you go to use a pressure washer you must be careful and don’t mess around with the device. To use a pressure washer at first you should buy the best pressure washer that fits your requirements. A pressure washer is a combination of few parts such as the power supply, the engine & the pump, the spray gun.
The power supply provides you with the necessary energy that is required to run the machine. When you use a gas run pressure washer you should put the gasoline properly in the gas tank and be careful that the fuel doesn’t spill while filling the tank. Do not fill the tank fully, always keep a little empty space as it might create problem while you carry it. When you finish using the device remember to empty the tank and clean it properly if you are not going to use it for a long time. If you have an electric pressure washer you need to take extra care with the power cord. Before you put the plug in the socket switch off the power switch, put the plug and then switch it on. Do not keep the power cord in a wet place. Though, most of the power cords of today are protected with GFCI protection still it is always advisable to stay cautious.
The motor provides the energy and the pump generates the water flow. When connect the water line with the pump make sure that the hose is connected firmly. If you keep the water connection loose it might come off while you are using it and it might harm anyone. Remove the water connection when you finish your cleaning job and keep it safely. When you are using the device you should keep away from direct sunlight. The sunlight will make your device very hot which is harmful to your engine. When you hold the spray gun make sure that you are holding it firmly and comfortably. The spray gun should not slip out from your hand which can cause injury. These are the few things that you should keep in mind when you use a pressure washer for the first time.
Applying Soap by Pressure Washer
Soap is a chemical that helps us to clean a surface very nicely and it makes the surface shiny. When you think of putting soap while you are cleaning you need to keep something in mind. Applying soap by a pressure washer there are few ways to do it. You should first know that your machine allows you to apply soap to a surface. Ways of applying soap are discussed here.
Make Connection: At first, you have to make a connection that will be connected to the pump and to the detergent tank. The high-pressure hose and the detergent pipe are connected to the pump through the same plug. The plug has two outlets, one is connected to the hose and the other one is connected to the detergent pipe. Make sure that the detergent pipe is connected properly. Then connect the soap applicator nozzle to the top of your spray gun.
Apply Detergent: When you connect your device with the soap pipe it takes the soap from the tank. After that taking the soap it mixes it with the water which is coming out through the spray gun and applies on the surface. Use the soap carefully as it might be difficult to put the soap evenly to a surface. When you finish applying soap remove the pipe that is attached to the detergent tank.
After Application: After you apply the soap change the nozzle and put a high-pressure nozzle to clean the soap from the surface. When you are putting soap on the wall outside of your house make sure that you apply from down to up. When you clean the soap by a high-pressure nozzle, you should rinse water from up to down. After you finish applying the soap make sure that no detergent remains inside the machine. You can do it by removing the detergent pipe and spray water for some time. In this way, soap inside the machine will come out.
Some Tips: There are on/off facilities to some machine’s soap applicator plugs. When you don’t want to use the soap you should switch off the soap switch. There are some nozzle tips that have two outputs. One for applying soap you use one and you use the other for high-pressure water. When you use soap nozzle the other one remains closed.
